Courage has consequences

Last year, under this same fiery moon, I shaved my head.

In our little camper bathroom, on an industrial zone parking lot in Italy, with rain pounding on the plastic windows.

It was the first day of what ended up being 3 months of traveling through Spain and Portugal—a dream come true.

But while I thought I was on a journey to meet the version of me who wasn’t afraid to begin anew, I actually met the version of me who was afraid to go out without a hood, and whole nervous system didn’t appreciate the yolo approach to our trip as much as I anticipated.

The reason I’m telling you this is: Aries is rash.

He doesn’t think thigs true. He doesn’t consider the consequences.

He just starts the fire.

And sometimes, that fire ends up burning you.

Aries is the archetype of the Warrior—the one who moves first, who trusts her instinct, who doesn’t wait for permission.
