Last year, under this same fiery moon, I shaved my head.
In our little camper bathroom, on an industrial zone parking lot in Italy, with rain pounding on the plastic windows.
It was the first day of what ended up being 3 months of traveling through Spain and Portugalâa dream come true.
But while I thought I was on a journey to meet the version of me who wasnât afraid to begin anew, I actually met the version of me who was afraid to go out without a hood, and whole nervous system didnât appreciate the yolo approach to our trip as much as I anticipated.
The reason Iâm telling you this is: Aries is rash.
He doesnât think thigs true. He doesnât consider the consequences.
He just starts the fire.
And sometimes, that fire ends up burning you.
đ Shedding the addiction to self-reliance
Aries is the archetype of the Warriorâthe one who moves first, who trusts her instinct, who doesnât wait for permission.
But thereâs a fine line between courageous independence and isolating self-sufficiency.
Under this Moon, youâre shedding the parts of us that confuse doing it alone with being strong.
â Aries Vibes: The First Flame
Aries is the spark that births Spring, the flame that says: âLife is meant to be lived in motion.â
Passion, initiative, instinct, raw aliveness that makes anything possible.
Itâs the inner fire that gives you the courage to start again â to do the hard thing, to tell the truth, to walk away, to rise.
Butâwhen you move too fast, too soon, or without taking your heart into account, that same flame burns you out.
The shadow side of Aries is impulsive, reactive, self-focusedâa kind of spiritual impatience that says, âI should be there by nowâ, and makes you stomp all over your own boundaries.
đ» The Shadow: The Fear of Losing Momentum
Whatâs haunting you right now might be the same ghost you thought youâd already exorcised â the belief that if you stop, youâll fall behind. That youâll lose your edge, your relevance, your place in the world.
But pause is not punishment. Itâs power.
And this Moon is here to remind you: every true beginning requires an ending.
What was seeded under the Aries New Moon + Solar Eclipse in March has now come full circle.
Whatever you initiated then â an identity, a path, a new level of courage â is being tested for truth.
đ° This Full Moon in Aries wants you ALIVE
A few nights ago, the energy already leading to this culmination, as I was lying in bed, squeezed between my girls, I had one of those âIâm not even ALIVEâ moments.
(I actually got up scripted a whole series around it after they fell asleep.)
You get so trapped in the learned motions that get you through the day, that the way in which you move through life is closer to a robot running chores than a living, breathing, feeling Human Being.
So, the medicine of Aries is aliveness.
To be so present in your own skin that you no longer need to prove anything to anyone.
To move from Knowing, not impulse.
To burn away the performance until only the real you remainsâbare, pulsing, blood-warm, alive.
Thatâs the gift of this Full Moon: courage that comes from embodiment, not ego.
